The Israeli Defense Forces have claimed responsibility for the elimination of Ali Shadmani, the wartime chief of staff of the Iranian Military.
A post on X on Tuesday stated that Shadmani was killed in an airstrike in central Tehran after Israel utilised its intelligence.
“For the second time in 5 days— the IDF has eliminated Iran’s War-Time Chief of Staff, the regime’s top military commander,” a post by the Israeli Defense Forces partly reads.
“Ali Shadmani, Iran’s senior-most military official and Khamenei’s closest military advisor, was killed in an IAF strike in central Tehran, following precise intelligence,” it continues.
