Israeli forces claim to have dismantled a missile launcher, nuclear facilities and eliminated personnel in Tehran on Monday.
The ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel has escalated into heavy aerial combat since Friday, with both nations launching various attacks and counterattacks against one another.
The Israeli Military claims that over 20 surface-to-surface missiles were destroyed Monday before they took off for combat in Israel. It adds that at least 100 military targets were struck in Isfahan, Central Iran.
"20+ surface-to-surface missiles were dismantled minutes before they were to be launched toward Israel's home front. Approx. 100 military targets were struck in Isfahan, central Iran," The Israeli Defense Forces wrote on X.
Multiple nations and international organisations, including India, the United States, and the UN, have urged a halt to the fighting, but these appeals have not come to fruition. The Israeli Defense Forces assert that they will maintain air control over Iran.
"The IAF Identified and eliminated surface-to-air missile launch troops seconds before they reached a launcher South of Tehran. The troops were eliminated and the launcher dismantled. The IAF continues to operate to achieve air superiority across Iran," the Israeli Defense Forces stated this morning.
The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has declared that Israel would stand firm in the battle for its freedom and the freedom of the Middle East from Iran's nuclear threats.
Israel has been targeting Iranian military sites to disrupt their nuclear capabilities, claiming to have struck at the Quds Force of the Iranian military, which they allege orchestrates terrorist attacks.
“The IDF accurately targeted command centres associated with the Quds Force of the IRGC and the Iranian armed forces. Within these command centres, Quds operatives were preparing terrorist operations against the State of Israel, utilising the Iranian regime's proxies in the region,” the statement continued.
The Iranian military has also announced its accomplishments in aerial engagements, claiming to have executed Mossad agents. They stated that future confrontations with Israel will be intense and formidable.
“Iran has just executed numerous Mossad agents one day after their capture for engaging in sabotage efforts,” the Iranian military posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Upcoming operations will be significantly more devastating, tougher, more precise, and destructive than prior ones.”
The Iranian government asserts that the international community has stood by without condemning what it views as Israeli genocide. They vow to continue fighting until Israel is utterly defeated, a sentiment that Israeli officials have echoed regarding Iran in recent times.
“The world has remained silent while Israel carried out genocide—now they preach to us about ethics? The IRGC has declared it will continue its operations against Israel until it is annihilated,” stated posts from the Iranian military on X.
U.S. President Donald Trump has recently mentioned that his country has not engaged in the conflict between Iran and Israel. Trump has advocated for a resolution to be reached by both countries to terminate the violence; however, no progress has been made towards this goal yet.
